Norte Energia S.A is formed by state and private companies in the electricity sector, construction companies, pension funds and investment companies and self-productive to build and operate the hydroelectric Belo Monte, Rio Xingu (PA). The venture will have an installed capacity of 11,233.1 MW of electricity, with 4,571 MW per annum.
